Damage beyond normal wear is on the renter, up to the replacement value. The listing photos plus anything either side snaps at hand-off and return are the record, and the deposit covers the repair first.

Renters verified

Every renter passes a driver’s-license-and-selfie check with Stripe before paying, and every lender is paid through Stripe, which verifies them before any payout. Gear not returned in 48 hours is charged and reported with a real name.

Owners set the minimum, the hours, and where to meet — a public spot, the trailhead, or swing by. Overnight rentals come back the next morning.
